Call to Worship
Members and guests are welcomed with choral and instrumental performances featuring our one-of-a-kind pipe organ.

Sunday School & Nursery
Children from preschool to fifth grade are welcome to attend Sunday School. Children are also welcome to remain in the sanctuary for the remainder of the service if they prefer. Our nursery welcomes children from birth to 36 months for all or a portion of the worship service. Parents are asked to pick up all children immediately following the service.

Sermon
Our pastors’ sermons offer lessons and guidance in alignment with the Presbyterian Church USA.

Communion
On the first Sunday of the month, communion is offered following the sermon. Our understanding of the sacrament is that all who trust in Jesus are invited to partake. Children are also invited to participate at whatever age their parents decide. Please feel welcome to participate or refrain as you wish. First Presbyterian Church observes this tradition with grape juice and gluten-free wafers to be respectful of individuals with food sensitivities.

Offering of Gifts
Presbyterian worship includes a time for returning to God our tithes and offerings. Collections placed in the offering plate support the ministry and mission of this church and the church across the world. Visitors are welcome but certainly not obligated to contribute.

Prayers for Our Community and Beyond
Prayer requests submitted by community members are shared with the congregation who then pray in silence and unison and joins

Benediction
A blessing bestowed on the congregation concludes the worship service. Following each Sunday service, church members and guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments and each other’s company during Coffee Hour in the church lounge.
